Research Interest
My interest is focused on the function of the Thymus, the primary lymphoid organ responsible for the generation of T cells.
Epithelial cells within the thymus provide essential signals to promote T cell differentiation. Our studies aim at investigating the cellular and molecular pathways involved in Thymic Epithelial Cell development, differentiation and function. We use a variety of approaches to accomplish these goals, including in vivo analysis of mutant mice, in vitro thymic organotypic cultures, in vivo thymic transplantation assays and transcriptome analysis.
